maude works primarily in photography and film. She is the co-creator of Swarm of Selenium, a dystopian queer sci fi film about communities of care, dreams, trauma and toxicity. Realized as part of a 6-month artist residency at District Kunst- und Kulturförderung (Berlin, 2016), the film will make its official release in the summer of 2017. maude’s current research explores the possibilities for worlds without prisons in existing post-colonial, anti-racist and feminist science fiction narratives.
