Amelle Margaron

Amelle Margaron is an MA student in Media Studies at Concordia University. Her thesis explores the formation and values of creative networked communities on the social media platform Tumblr. More generally, Amelle’s research is interested in visual media, art history and platform studies. Amelle also holds a BA in Communication Studies from Concordia University. She is currently a member of the university’s Digital Culture, Intimacy, and Sexuality lab and was previously affiliated with the art history publication Yiara Magazine and student festival Art Matters during her undergraduate studies.
