Gabrielle-Léa Tétrault

Gabrielle has an eclectic background in visual arts, geopolitics and cultural management. She is a media maker, producer and organizer. She has worked for several digital art/culture organizations in Montreal. She is also the cofounder of Mesh Magazine, a printed magazine exploring vulnerability and curating marginal Montreal-based artists only, and has held the position of managing editor there. More recently, she has been working on a 360 film and exploring the potential of VR experiences, as well as elaborated web designs. 

Currently, Gabrielle is a Media Studies MA candidate at Concordia University. She is the coordinator at the Feminist Media Studio. She is as well a research assistant for ACT- Ageing + Communication + Technology and Archive/Counter-Archive. Her interests include the encounters with the virtual, contemporary affects and their politics, post humanism, techno feminism and esoteric practices.
