FMS Fall Open House

Join us for a tour of the space and equipment library, meet our three axes, contribute to Building a Feminist Library, and learn of more ways to get involved at the FMS this year. Light vegetarian and vegan snacks and refreshments will be served. Come say hello and learn about what we are up to!

Building a Feminist Library (BaFL)

• This project comes from our desire to collectively build a Statement of Lab Values and Commitments at the Feminist Media Studio. Many of you joined us over the past year as we used resource sharing and storytelling to highlight collective values and clusters of meaning among FMS members. This year, we will begin to identify (RA-funded) working groups based around the library’s texts.
• Bring a book! There will be time allotted for participants wishing to share a text for the library to do so. Returning and first-time participants are welcome to propose texts that have informed their work and share the stories that brought them to it, which the FMS will purchase from a feminist bookstore for the library. Visit the library in person & via Zotero.

This hybrid event will take place in-person and over Zoom.
