The Feminist Media Studio regularly hosts free public events, workshops, roundtables, discussions, reading groups, and writing retreats. Some activities are smaller and more intimate, and may either be restricted—or grant priority access—to members. The Studio organizes a yearly Distinguished Lecture series, including lectures and workshops with key scholars, artists and activists who have shaped the field of feminist media, broadly constiuted. We also organize technical and creative workshops, skills-sharing events, critique seminars, works-in-progress presentations, and reading and writing groups. To get involved, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Studio has devised alternate models of engagement, collaborative inquiry and mutual support through a new project entitled Doing Feminism in the Pandemic. For more information on this project, please read our technological acknowledgement.
